Helping Others Makes Us Happier

This is so true, when we help others it makes us feel valued.  Charity work is recommended for anyone who has experienced depression.   There are million ways in which we can make a difference and help others.

Research shows that helping others makes us happier. But in her groundbreaking work on generosity and joy, social psychologist Elizabeth Dunn found that there's a catch: it matters how we help.
