What is the meaning of confidence and high self esteem, really? The self confidence meaning we typically attribute needs to be reevaluated. Because we misinterpret what confidence is.
And then we perceive it the wrong way. We think it’s a charismatic speaker. A witty dinner party guest. Or the person who is always winning at work. They may be confident, yes. But it’s actually simpler than that. It’s only one, simple thing. The key to becoming confident is the willingness to experience negative emotions.

Because the confident people out there know that knows the cost of really going for what they want isn't that risky - because they’re willing to feel a temporary uncomfortable emotion.
