Obesity Reaches Global Crisis Point

This article is totally alarming and we need to take responsibility for our health:

  • Obese people now outnumber those who are underweight; 641 million people were obese in 2014, compared to 105 million in 1975
  • By 2025, an estimated 20 percent of the global adult population, 40 percent of British and nearly 45 percent of American adults will be obese
  • Diabetes rates are skyrocketing as well, now affecting nearly 1 in 11 adults worldwide while more than half of U.S. adults have prediabetes
