The Myths of Safe Pesticides

Interesting video about Pesticides.  We really need to pay attention to these as they can be quite harmful to our health.  It seems that the best food to eat is organic.  But there too it is important to ensure that what is sold as organic, really is organic.

• What little safety testing is done is considered inadequate by most toxicologists
• Most chemicals are tested only in isolation. In real world application however, most of them are using combination, and no one’s testing for the synergies between chemicals
• One of the simplest and most effective strategies to avoid exposure to toxic pesticides is to eat organic food
