Simple And Effective Ways To Treat Eczema

Simple And Effective Way To Treat Eczema

Many years ago, I suffered from eczema which was triggered by an allergy to Lactose.  I tried many creams and oitments and only when I stopped all dairy products did the eczema clear up.

The article below is very helpful and it is worth analysing the food intake and what could trigger this eczema which can be quite painful and unsightly.  In fact the causes are mostly from allergies to certain foods or hygiene products which we use on a daily basis.

The article goes into more details on how to treat exczema but it is worth checking the food intake and products you use to bathe and wash.  Even the washing powder you use for your laundry could trigger the condition.

Childhood Eczema

Trials are going on in the UK to ascertain whether silk underwear for children with eczema actually helps with this condition.  For this reason children with moderate or severe eczema are sought.   Professor Kim Thomas at the University of Nottingham, Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology will lead this trial.   This work is being funded by the National Institute for Health Research and involves NHS Trusts in Nottingham, London, Cambridge, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight .
Children enrolled on this scheme will participate for eight months.  If you have a child and would like to enrol it in this sceme you can email: clothes@nottingham.ac.uk
